I Can See Your House From Here

If you jump to this link you'll see a satellite view of my dad's house in South Lake Tahoe, just below the point of the right -pointing triangle in the center of the picture.

I mention this only because, at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday the 8th, I flew directly overhead, traveling at about 600 miles per hour, at an altitude of approximately 30,000 feet above sea level, or roughly four and one-third miles straight overhead of where he and his wife, Judy live.

And I could see straight down to the ground.

I waved, but at that height it was impossible to tell if anyone waved back.

NOT The View From My Hotel Window In San Diego

Naturally, I'm on the back side of the building, next to the railroad tracks, the new building construction across the street, and from the sound of things directly above the hotel's loading dock.

Still, the weather is nice. For now.
